Providers

Shruti Benjamin, MD, FACOG

Dr. Shruti Benjamin was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University and graduated with honors with a degree in biology. Dr. Benjamin remained in Lubbock to obtain her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine.

 

After deciding to dedicate her career to Obstetrics & Gynecology, she completed residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was elected to the position of Administrative Chief Resident. During her time as a resident she was awarded the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology award by her peers at the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly and also the distinguished Joseph Warren award.

Dr. Benjamin met her husband, an internal medicine physician in Frisco, during high school. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends and traveling the world together. They also enjoy spending time with their "Baylor Baby," Niyam.

Bianca Caram, MD, FACOG

Dr. Caram, a native Houstonian, is happy to have established roots in Dallas and serve women of all ages at Legacy Women's Health.

 

She received her undergraduate degree from Rice University followed by her doctorate of medicine from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. There she received multiple awards for her teaching, including the Golden Apple Award two years in a row given by the medical students and the Second Year Resident Teaching Award awarded by the internship class. She also participated in research in which she won the Devereaux Resident Research Award. She remains dedicated to teaching while on staff at Baylor University Medical Center.

 

In her spare time Dr. Caram enjoys spending time with her husband at the Dallas Arboretum, traveling, and watching college and professional football.

Brittney Anders, MD

Dr. Anders is Dallas born and raised. She is excited to practice in her favorite city and hometown. She attended Trinity Christian Academy in Addison. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University. She then continued on to the Texas A&M Health Science Center for medical school. She returned to Dallas to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center. During her residency, she was awarded the Golden Apple Teaching Award for four years consecutively as a dedicated teacher and physician to the Texas A&M medical students. She received the Outstanding Resident Award for Baylor University Medical Center at the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly. She was Chief Administrative Resident in her final year.

 

As a college student on a medical mission trip to the Philippines, she found her calling in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Anders has also served communities in Peru and Guatemala. She hopes to continue these service trips throughout her career. She is a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially as aunt “Britt Britt” to her two nieces. You will probably find her at the hospital, lake, or beach on the weekends.
